At Daisy’s Daycare, we believe that the first years of a child’s life are incredibly valuable. During these early years, the foundation is formed for how a child experiences, discovers, and understands the world around them. With this belief at the heart of everything we do, we have created a place where care, calmness, and meaningful experiences come together.
Daisy’s Daycare is a small-scale daycare centre in Amsterdam for children aged 0 to 4 years, where every child is truly seen and heard. We provide a warm and safe environment in which young children can develop at their own pace. By working with small groups, we are able to offer personal attention and an approach tailored to the unique needs of each child throughout every stage of their development.
Our vision is based on learning through experience. We encourage children to explore, play, and wonder. Both within the world around them and within themselves. Creativity, sensory experiences, and calmness are important pillars within our daily rhythm.
We also place great value on building a strong and positive relationship with parents. Together, we create a trusted environment where children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.

How we make a difference
Small groups and outdoor learning
Step into bright, cozy spaces and an exhilarating outdoor playground. Your child a chance to discover, explore, and grow here every day. Our caring, highly trained team guides children aged 0 to 4 with warmth, attention, and genuine joy.
Healthy food, safety and hygiene
At Daisy’s Daycare, every detail supports your child’s well‑being. We maintain a spotless environment with daily cleaning routines and uphold the highest hygiene standards. Meals are healthy, delicious, and thoughtfully prepared with Dutch Nutrition Centre guidelines in mind, using as many organic ingredients as possible. Shared mealtimes foster positive eating experiences without pressure, only enjoyment.
Flexibility
Daisy's Daycare is open from 7:30 AM to 6:30 PM and offers flexible drop-off and pick-up times. Parents are welcome to drop off and pick up their children throughout the day.
Development-oriented care
We offer developmentally appropriate activities tailored to each child's needs and developmental stages. This means choosing activities that connect with a child's existing abilities while simultaneously inviting new challenges, allowing them to grow at their own pace.
