A Place Where Families Meet
At Daisy’s Daycare, we believe that childcare is about much more than simply caring for children. We value creating a place where not only children, but also parents feel at home and become part of a warm and welcoming community. That is why we regularly organise cosy and informal events where parents can meet one another, share experiences, and get to know each other better.
Through these moments, we see beautiful friendships begin to grow, and parents often find recognition, support, and understanding in one another.
Flexibility
At Daisy’s Daycare, we are open from 7:30 to 18:30 and offer flexible drop-off and pick-up times. This allows parents to plan their day in a way that best suits their own schedule.

You are welcome to bring or pick up your child throughout the day. We kindly ask that you let us know if your child will be dropped off after 10:00 or picked up before 16:30, so we can take this into account in our daily rhythm.

At Daisy’s Daycare, we believe that real attention starts with keeping groups small and personal. Small groups allow us to create a calm, safe, and familiar environment where every child has the space to develop at their own pace.

This approach gives us the time and attention to truly see each child as an individual. It also helps us build strong, trusting relationships with parents and creates a warm, home-like atmosphere where everyone feels seen, valued, and welcome.
Development-focused care
At Daisy’s Daycare, we offer activities that provide structure while gently encouraging each child’s development at their own pace. We carefully choose activities that match what a child can already do, while also inviting them to take on new challenges in a natural and supportive way.

In this way, children are given the space to grow with confidence, curiosity, and joy. Always in their own time and in a way that suits their individual development.
Healthy food, safety and hygiene
At Daisy’s Daycare, we place great importance on health, safety, and hygiene. Our spaces are cleaned daily according to strict guidelines, and we work with a dedicated team to ensure a safe, clean, and well-cared-for environment for all children.

Children are offered varied, healthy meals at set times, based on the guidelines of the Dutch Nutrition Centre and prepared with as many organic ingredients as possible. Shared mealtimes are a calm and positive part of the day, where children can enjoy food together in a relaxed atmosphere, without pressure, rewards, or expectations.
Daily time outdoors
At Daisy’s Daycare, we believe children learn and grow best when they are given the space to explore the world around them. Being outside, moving their bodies, and connecting with nature are an essential part of our daily rhythm.
Whether it’s a walk through Westerpark, playing in our natural garden, or simply going on little adventures together, we make sure children have the chance to enjoy fresh air every day and learn through play in a natural and meaningful way.

Daisy’s Daycare is a small-scale daycare centre in Amsterdam for children aged 0 to 4 years, where every child is truly seen and heard. We provide a warm and safe environment in which young children can develop at their own pace. By working with small groups, we are able to offer personal attention and an approach tailored to the unique needs of each child throughout every stage of their development.

Our vision is based on learning through experience. We encourage children to explore, play, and wonder. Both within the world around them and within themselves. Creativity, sensory experiences, and calmness are important pillars within our daily rhythm.
We also place great value on building a strong and positive relationship with parents. Together, we create a trusted environment where children feel safe, supported, and able to thrive.
