Who are we?

Daisy’s Daycare is a small-scale daycare centre located in Amsterdam West. We work with small and intimate groups, allowing us to truly take the time for one-on-one attention with each child every day. Our goal is to create a place where children, parents, and employees all feel heard, valued, and supported. We strongly believe that this is the foundation for happy, healthy, and development-focused childcare.

We place great importance on the growth and development of both our children and our team. For you, this means an annual study day, access to an in-house coach who supports and trains you, and plenty of room to share your ambitions and grow professionally.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who would like to grow into a qualified childcare professional (Pedagogical Employee, MBO level 3 or 4) within 12 months and turn their passion for working with children into a meaningful career. You will work a minimum of 27 hours and a maximum of 36 hours per week.

You will attend school one evening per week in Amsterdam and complete your assignments in practice, supported by reflection reports and coursework. Throughout the program, you will be guided by a workplace mentor, an examiner, and a team of kind and supportive colleagues who will be there for you every step of the way.

During the interview, we are happy to explain the structure and content of the training in more detail.

 

What will you do?

• Care for and guide children in a loving, safe, and stimulating environment

• Create and organise creative and educational activities tailored to each child’s age and development

• Work closely with parents to support their child’s development and keep them informed of progress

• Ensure a safe, clean, and hygienic environment where children feel free to explore and grow

• Follow a one-year BBL training program alongside your work

• Availability for 27 or 36 hours per week, spread over three or four days
