Who are we?

Daisy’s Daycare is a small-scale childcare center located in Amsterdam West. We offer small and half-sized groups, ensuring there is time for one-on-one attention with each child every day. Our goal is to create a space where children, parents, and staff feel heard and valued. We believe this is the key to a happy, healthy, and development-focused childcare environment. The growth of both children and staff is extremely important to us. For you, we organize one professional development day each year, provide access to a coach for training, and love hearing about your ambitions!

 

We are looking for passionate early childhood educators. Our groups are divided into three age categories: babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. We are happy to discuss which age group you prefer and your creative ideas for working with that age.

What will you do?

• Guide and care for children in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

• Plan and organize creative and educational activities that match the age and development of the children.

• Work with parents to support their child’s development and keep them informed about progress.

• Ensure a safe and hygienic environment where children can freely explore and grow.

What do we expect from you?

• You have a relevant diploma (such as SPW 3/4, Pedagogy, Teaching Assistant, or an equivalent qualification according to the CAO Kinderopvang).

• You are available to work 27 or 36 hours per week, spread over three or four days.

• You are passionate about working with children and know how to create a positive and stimulating atmosphere.

• You have strong communication skills and are a true team player.

• You have a proactive attitude.

• You hold a valid first aid certificate or are willing to obtain one.
